Comparative Study of Sediment Transport using the Caldwell and Cerc Methods at the Donggala Fish Landing Base

Abstract Donggala Fish Landing Port (PPI) is a fish port located in Central Sulawesi, precisely Labuan Bajo Village, Banawa District, Regency, which along the high seas coast. The change shoreline at Base caused by sediment transport that occurs due to wind and incoming waves. This study aims determine characteristics, amount of longshore per year, ratio for 10 years using Caldwell method CERC method. Analysis characteristics was carried out testing laboratory with analyzed parameters, namely: density, grain size distribution sedimentation velocity.
